Rom-com specialist Garry Marshall (Pretty Woman) plays cupid with an all-star cast in a chick flick armed with the ultimate romantic title and the ultimate line-up of screen talent.
Jessica Alba, Julia Roberts, Jessica Biel, Patrick Dempsey, Anne Hathaway, Queen Latifah, Jennifer Garner, Ashton Kutcher and Twilight’s Taylor Lautner are just some of the singles and couples in L.A. who are celebrating that special day on Feb 14, and it’s their intersecting stories that provide the movie’s narrative.
In terms of star power this could well be the Avatar of romantic comedies, although cast congestion does tend to impact upon the plot (the what?) at times. More Love Actually than Pretty Woman or Sex and the City, this one will be high on the shopping list of every gal this month.
STARRING: Queen Latifah, Foxx, Jamie, Lopez, George, Maclaine, Shirley, Dane , Eric, Jenkins , Carter, Dane, Eric, Jenkins, Carter, Latifah, Queen.
Did You Know...? At the time this movie was released, the star-studded cast had collectively been nominated for 16 acting Oscars during their careers, including four wins.
