The wait is finally over. One of Disney’s greatest modern animated features – and a children’s all-time favourite – is released in High Definition for the very first time.

This 1994 classic is much loved for the Oscar-winning song “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” by Elton John and Tim Rice, but that’s not all that’s come up a treat in this Blu-ray incarnation.

The entire movie has been given the Disney Digital 3D conversion, and the upgrade is evident from the opening scene of “The Circle of Life”.

Set to enchant old and new fans alike, The Lion King is available in a number of different versions. There’s the DVD, plus Diamond Edition Superset (BD + DVD + Digital Copy) and Diamond Edition Blu-ray Value Pack (3D Blu-ray + 2D Bluray + DVD + Digital Copy).

A three-movie collection featuring the two DTV sequels – The Lion King Trilogy – will also be released the same time.

Love it, its the same movie we all fell in love with in the early/mid 90's. Its back on DVD/Blue Ray and in 3D, how fantastic to be able to share such a wonderful movie again with our kids all these years later.
