A title expressing an all too common theme, Horrible Bosses concerns three friends, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day and Jason Bateman, who conspire to kill their respective superiors.

Taking on their titular roles with over-the-top relish are Colin Farrell as a coke-hound who orders Sudeikis to fire the fat people; Kevin Spacey, who tirelessly conspires against Bateman’s promotion; and Jennifer Aniston, who gets to throw off her romantic comedy shackles by playing a foulmouthed sexual predator who’s constantly making advances on Charlie Day. Jamie Foxx is also in good form as a shady consultant, offering criminal advice to the aggrieved employees.

Largely catering to the emasculated working male, there’s plenty of vulgar and raunchy shenanigans on offer – notably between Day and Aniston – with the entire ensemble cast clearly relishing their roles. A broad appeal comedy that more than a few disgruntled employees will be able to relate to.

Extras: • Additional Scenes (DVD & BD) • My Least Favourite Career (BD) • Surviving a Horrible Boss (BD) • Being Mean is So Much Fun (BD) • Making of the Soundtrack (BD)

STARRING: Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, Jason Bateman, Colin Farrell, Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx

Did You Know...? While director Seth Gordon encouraged most actors to improvise their lines in various scenes, Jennifer Aniston stated she did not need to because her lines were “beautifully choreographed”.

The Hangover did this style of comedy a lot better, but it was still good fun and Jennifer Anisten is hot as. Keeps getting funnier as you keep watching. Jamie Fox and Jason Bateman are hilarious too.

I wanted to like "Horrible Bosses" but it really was kind of... well, horrible. I couldn't get past the deplorable attempts at humour any more than I could get past Jennifer Aniston's over the top botox. That's the second time an actress' surgery has made the film too hard to concentrate on (the other being Nicole Kidman in "Rabbit Hole"... but at least she had a decent character and movie to work with). I got up to the scene where the guys are mucking around in a bar & one abruptly gets up to say he has to go and "see that girl about her vagina". Yep, that's about it -- if you find that amusing, you'll like the movie.
